The project aims to be unique, adapted to the location, and to differentiate itself from other chapels. This decision was made to avoid the tendency to have a repetitive image that is found in every village.

The chapel has been positioned towards the street to make it easily recognizable, although in terms of size, it discreetly integrates itself into the silhouette of the locality. The design is simple, but with carefully studied details as a symbol of decency and respect for the deceased person and as an expression of restraint in the difficult moment that the family and loved ones are going through. A discreet, contemporary image was chosen, which also incorporates and reinterprets elements from traditional architecture.

In terms of its placement on the plot, the goal was to create a courtyard with a more secluded character to ensure privacy for ceremonies and groups of people attending funerals or vigils. It was considered that openness to the public space and the street, characteristic of religious programs, is not suitable in this case. For this reason, the chapel was placed on the wider side of the plot to allow the creation of a courtyard on the side.

To establish a good relationship between the chapel and the courtyard, and to provide the desired intimacy for those participating in the ceremony, the entrance from the courtyard is made through a generously sized porch.
