The goal was to create a unified complex that would offer various leisure options to the residents of the area, and beyond, whether it's about walking, team sports, running, or other activities.

The project repurposes a disused industrial site, returning it to the community through two main components: an area dedicated to sports facilities that takes advantage of the flat part of the site and a park area richer in vegetation on the eastern slope, which, along the promenade route, provides valuable views of the entire ensemble. Thus, the sports base can be seen as a point of interest with the potential to encourage the regeneration of the former industrial platform between Ocna Mureș, the Mureș River, and the village of Uioara as a whole.

The facilities included in the project aim to create an inclusive ambiance, catering to both individuals seeking more demanding physical activities or seniors and people with mobility limitations.

To minimize the project's impact, a single building has been proposed, a pavilion that houses the reception, changing rooms, sanitary facilities, the medical office and the administration. All these spaces are arranged around a small inner courtyard that manages to provide a pleasant ambiance to the spaces it communicates with.
